This year was Bill’s first Father’s day with two daughters!  It was an amazing day with giggly children, smiling parents, and even Jen’s dad was able to come visit us from California.  Here’s a picture of Bill with the girls.  Maddie is still recovering from her hospital stay, but it’s been about 3 weeks since she got home and she’s smiling a lot more and loving all the attention that Abby gives her.

Bill went for a special Father’s day celebration at Abby’s daycare on Friday.  Abby took a picture with Bill and the kids sang a special Father’s Day song for all the dads.

Bill recently bought a small 8 foot swimming pool for the deck and Abby loves it!

There’s a small stream near the house and Bill takes Abby there in our wagon for “fishing.”  There are a few sunfish in the stream and Abby is always so happy to reel the fish in, take a picture, and throw them back.

Maddie thinks is hilarious to watch Abby pay on the drive way with daddy.  She’s completely entertained sitting in her stroller while Bill lifts Abby up to the basketball rim for a “dunk.”

Bill built an addition to Abby’s little slide platform.  This included a climbing wall, a shaky bridge, and a little rope ladder.

Here’s grandpa with Maddie.  She doesn’t get to see him often, but always likes his singing and calm demeanor.  She’s so happy that he was able to come visit!
